My son graduated from Marine boot camp on 11/26/08, the Wed before Thanksgiving!
He was at MCRD, Marine Corp Recruit Depot, San Diego. We got to bring him home that day, and he didn't have to report back to Camp Pendleton until Dec 9th.
Now we get to bring him home on 12/19 and he doesn't have to report back until 1/5/09!!!
I am really looking forward to the stories he has to tell :)
